Flitch Green

Location: Uttlesford District

This outline proposals for up to 160 new homes and a potential office hub also included a new country park with community allotments and an orchard.

Urban Design Box proposed a masterplan defined by green corridors, connecting existing habitats, providing drainage infrastructure and the opportunity for play space and connection to the Flitch Way, adjacent to the site. The submission included a design code, which will ensure the creation of a successful, landscape led design that also responds to climate change.
